Facebook New Blogging Platform

Have you ever wondered how a Facebook blogging platform would look like? Well, I've asked myself that very question and I've worked a few hours straight to get an answer.

Without a doubt, Facebook is one of the most innovative creations of the twenty first century and accomplished what many couldn't. Active users of Facebook increased from just a million in 2004 to over 750 million in 2011.

A few decades ago if someone would have killed you socially you'd probably have to change schools or even cities to start your life all over again, 'cause there would not be any time to let things cool off and come back without being even noticed. Today we have Facebook.

As grateful as I am to Mark but I think the "birth" of Facebook was a round of  Russian roulette, it could have gone either way. I think his impact on humanity was more of an accident, a positive accident, which naturally happens one time in a million years. With this being said, no one (at least not me) is denying his giftedness.

March in Review, Blogwise + Blogger Tips

March has a been a productive month, I've worked hard on my blog, have made some radical changes, from black and dark colors to bright and shinny ones though I'm not bright and shinny. I've submitted my blog to dozens of directories and blog related websites that are set to help bloggers like me. I will explain the way I do it and may be you'll find some tips to improve your way of blogging, tips to make your blog more likable and find out what I am looking for in a blog

Sometimes I am a blogger, other times I am reader, but most of the time I am artist, not a painter, musician or other kind of performer, simply an artist who plays with words, shapes and colors. Some bloggers might want to keep it simple, I, on the other hand, like it complex. It was not complex at first but as I progressed it became such way. There were many things that helped me 'cause there was not way I could do it alone.

At the beginning of March I promised to myself to fight for at least two thousands pageviews, I was pessimistic and skeptic about it but blogging is on thing that keeps me sane and brings me some joy so I fought hard and so my expectations were surpassed by the reality and I got 2.7 thousands pageviews.

Twitter - Do it Right!

Twitter is a powerful tool for known and popular people, for less known or even unknown people is just another useless way of expressing your thoughts into the universe 'cause from what it looks the universe is the only big thing that listens to you, through Twitter or Facebook, either way.

As in the case of a blog and its readers, to have a lot of followers you need to be a public person, with a lot of fake friends, and who does participate to a lot of public events of an economical, social or political nature. To have people express their interest towards your blogger, twitter or facebook products you need to express an interest too, true or fake, 'cause sometimes it may be difficult to read stuff from hundreds of people. Except when you are a guru of some kind and people will follow you blindly in hope for free wisdom if that's the case.

Twitter is another way to notice how shallow some people are, they start following you, and the minute they see you don't follow them back they unfollow in a blink of an eye, some people expect it to be mutual. Well, from where I stand Twitter is one thing that should not be mutual, 'cause for me Twitter is like the favorite newspaper I never had, when I visit my Twitter account I wanna read interesting stuff, make a reply of some kind and if it is the case to socialize a bit.

Not every single person I follow follows me back and don't expect them too, if they find me interesting and worth of following back kudos to them.

As I said, there are individuals who start following me and expect to do the same thing, but if I see that we have nothing in common I'm sorry but I'm not going to follow back. I just don't want to have other pretty much interesting tweets buried in the load of crappy ones.

How Facebook affected my life!

Thankfully no one's liver has anything to suffer from. My socially-awkwardness has met this miracle a few years back and saved me for being socially dead. I don't like going to bars, nightclubs, I don't like big crowds at big concerts, I like enjoying my time at a good movie with my friends, or having them at my house and as stupid as it sounds, cook [for] them. Just kidding.

Facebook gave me a lot of [fake] friends, that if you look closely enough you'll a big haystack, from which, if you're lucky enough, you're going to find the needle, with whom you'll have long and weakly, sometimes boring and yet productive conversations.

Deseori am gânduri (filosofice) numai bune pentru a fi baza unor articole numai bune pentru blog-ul meu însa la fel de deseori ma găsesc într-o stare neinspirata incit nu pot crea un articole bine editate pornite de la acele gânduri, de aici mi-am și reamintit de un vechi articol în care mi-am expus în mod genial mai multe gânduri fără ca sa se amestece intre ele, gânduri abrupte, gânduri aparte, gânduri separate.

So let the thinking begin!

• Numele meu este Eugeniu (grecescul Eugenios) din care "eu" înseamna "bine" și "gen" înseamnă "a naște, a zămisli, a produce", deci după logica greceasca cei care poarta acest nume au tendință (deși nu e garantat) de a face bine. Eehhh. Dintr-o logica mai moderna, Eu+geniu, oare pe cit de geniu pot eu fi sau sunt ca atare ? Oare cit de mult bine fac eu pentru alții ?

• Niște evenimente recent m-au făcut sa ma gândesc la identitate și anume la acel set de caracteristici definitorii pe care le poseda fiecare din noi. Identitatea consta din individualitatea ta și pe cit de diferit de alții ești. Identitatea este felul în care te vezi sau te definești, sau rețeaua de valori și principii care iți structurează viata. A avea identitate înseamnă uniformitate în tot timpul indiferent de circumstanțe, identitatea este condiția unei persoane care este sine fără a pretinde de a fi ceva ce de fapt nu e; individualitate, personalitate. Nu accepta sub nici o forma ca cineva să-ți lezeze din individualitate, nu accepta sa fii uniformizat cu un șablon prestabilit, nu accepta sa fii "culcat pe patul lui Procust".
